We're a locally owned mobile fuel delivery company based right here in Tampa. No national call center. No app that dumps you on hold. When you call, a real person from Tampa picks up — and a truck rolls to you within the hour.
OUR FLEET
Tampa Fuel Delivery started the way most good local businesses start — one truck, one driver, and a phone that wouldn't stop ringing. A stranded neighbor on Bayshore during a 2019 tropical storm turned into a quick fill-up, and that neighbor told their HOA group chat, and the calls kept coming.
Today our trucks roll across all of Hillsborough County, 7 days a week. But the core hasn't changed: show up fast, charge a fair price, put the right fuel in the tank.
30 to 60 minutes on most Tampa calls. We give a real ETA on the phone and stick to it. No "we'll be there in a bit" guessing.
The number we say on the call is the number you pay in the driveway. No hunting fee. No after-hours surcharge. No upsells.
Metered nozzles, DOT-compliant tanks, and drivers trained on gasoline and diesel handling. Every drop measured and receipted.
Tampa-based dispatchers. We know I-275 traffic, which Publix parking lots make our drivers' jobs easier, and how long the Selmon really takes at 5 PM.
You shouldn't have to walk down the shoulder of I-4 looking for a gas can because you misjudged the tank. You shouldn't have to shut down a job site because the fuel truck showed up at 2 PM instead of 7 AM. You shouldn't have to sit in the dark during a storm because every station within twenty miles has a line around the block and no power to run the pumps.
The station model assumes you can always get to the fuel. That assumption breaks down constantly — on the highway shoulder, at a construction site with no vehicle to spare, at a marina where the fuel dock has a two-hour wait, or at home when the power's out and the generator's the only thing keeping the fridge cold. Our trucks carry everything a station does — metered pumps, gasoline and diesel, safety gear — the only thing missing is the line.
That's the whole pitch. We bring the pump to you so your day, your job site, or your power doesn't have to stop.
From the owner: "If we can't get fuel to you safely and legally, we'll tell you on the phone before we charge you a dime. We'd rather lose a call than promise a delivery we can't make."
Every job ends the same way: fuel metered and logged, photo of the delivery sent to your phone, email receipt before we leave. If anything about the delivery feels off, we come back and make it right.
We're not perfect. Sometimes traffic ruins an ETA. Sometimes a storm surge of calls means a slightly longer wait. When that happens we tell you, fast, and we prioritize based on urgency — a dead generator during an outage jumps the line over a routine top-off.
Honest pricing, fast service. The driver showed me the meter reading before he charged me and emailed the receipt before he pulled away. This is how every service business should work.
Called at 9 PM with an empty tank at a gas station that had a broken pump. Was quoted a flat price on the phone, paid that exact price. Truck showed up in 35 minutes. No upsell, no "while we're here" add-ons. Just a full tank.
Our HOA recommended them after a neighbor's good experience during hurricane season. Now I recommend them to every neighbor I meet. Tampa-owned, real people, no franchise runaround.
Call dispatch any hour we're open. We'll quote you on the phone, dispatch a truck, and get you running.
